Located in Indrapuri, Bihar, strategically positioned between Varanasi and Patna, the college serves a wide region with a growing demand for qualified educators. Its full-time B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. programs combine academic rigor with gender sensitivity, respect, and a commitment to research and partnerships.
The college was founded in memory of Dr. Saroj Agarwal, a distinguished professor of English at Benaras Hindu University, and a visionary who believed in the transformative power of education, especially for rural and first-generation learners. Guided by her values, and surrounded by numerous government and private schools, Amaltas offers both aspiring and experienced teachers the opportunity to pursue high-quality professional training and build impactful careers.

Our 2-acre safe and welcoming residential campus is designed to inspire learning, collaboration, and creativity. With a 33,000 sq. ft. academic building, modern student and faculty residences, high-speed Wi-Fi, and open spaces for interaction, the campus offers an enriching environment. Facilities include playcourts, a multipurpose 200-seat auditorium, and dedicated zones for both academic and cultural pursuits.
